Nutrition

Good quality nutrition is often the key to maintaining a healthy cat.  It is very important that the diet is well balanced and complete.  The easiest and often the most convenient way to ensure this is to feed a high quality dry cat food that can be weighed out daily.  Evolution recommends Hills Science Plan diets which are highly nutritious and palatable.

In addition specific foods are available for indoor, and less active cats, others help to prevent weight gain, and hairballs. Please contact the surgery if you would like further advice about your pet's diet.

Prescription diets

Evolution also offer a range of Hills products specially formulated for the nutritional management of cats with diseases such as diabetes, bladder stones, kidney and liver damage to name but a few. Our vets regularly prescribe diets to compliment or reduce medication, and would be glad to discuss the benefits of these foods should your pet be affected by such an illness.
